I did lots of that criticizing, but yea it is a tough medium sometimes. I don't think people are hating on McDougal though. They just think that he could run even better at a big name program.
Granted I agreed in my previous post that McDougal ran well at his 1st 2 nationals. But with how he dominated prior to NCAA's, you wonder if he'd be more prepared locking horns with the best, if he trained with the best. Maybe his finishes and kicks would be better if he had guys around him once in a while in practice and in better competition races. Don't forget that he didn't get that in high school either, so he's almost never gotten it. Most runners speak highly of having good training partners.
