Did anyone see his 13:16?? The pace was all over the place and I think he still closed with a 58 which is fast for him. The odds are against it happening this year (because of marathon training plans soon), but with a good string of solid injury free training, I have no doubts he can pull it off. Its just going to depend on whether or not he wants to focus all his energy on it.
Very true. I see more are coming over to the non-Dark Side. That's good in a way because it's really where everyone should be. At the same time though, it's not good because once Ritz does go sub 13:00, everyone and their brother will say they knew he could do it, but they wouldn't have made that decision until after he ran 13:03.
I knew when Ritz ran 13:27 as a freshman in college (a time that was better than Goucher's best college time) that he would eventually break 13:00.
