You are correct, most runners go to d1 after Juco - because you can only go to a juco for 2 YEARS (dumbass...).

Also, anyone remember the name Sara Wells??? Yeah, practically a nothing out of high school, went to a JuCo for two years, ran better, went to ok state, got better, now a professional marathon kickin most of everyone's ass... (just another runner on the long list of juco athletes who went on to be awesome...)

(more recent juco turned d1 runners include most of the top d1 runners:

joseph boit (arkansas - from cowely county)

mark rodrigues (arkansas - from cowley county)

simon ngata (georgia - from butler county)

obed mutanya (arizona - from central arizona cc)

(d2 standouts from juco...)

jake raines (adams state - from barton cc)

lucky habede (abilene christian - from cloud)

Just because they can only stay for two years doesn't mean that D1 wasn't the reason they got better.
