Republicans are almost always benefited by low turnout elections.

Of course, this is true in the US as well, certainly for Indians but also (non-citizen) immigrants in general, i.e., their crime rates are significantly lower than population averages, which is the case for a really really good reason: if you are here on a visa, the last thing you want is to get involved in crime and be deported back or become an incarcerated alien; this is even more so the case for illegal immigrants from the south of the border, but nevertheless any time an illegal immigrant commits a crime, this forum will predictably start moaning about how immigrants are ruining the country.
