You give old Dr.Bob more credit than he deserves. I know nothing about the particulars about this case. However , I’ve been in the high school coaching ranks for 30 years PLUS I AM A A MAN OF LETTERS , so I can make a very educated guess about how this will play out. I am sure the aggrieved parties have been counseled by their attorneys of the substantial liabilities they could face if wrong .

Correct. First of all the burden of proof that these allegations are true will be on the accusers. They need to prove this happened. Good luck. And the defense can bring in whoever they want to support him with testimonies etc. if you can’t prove your allegations then it quickly becomes grounds for a defamation suit.

Im intrigued by this thread. As an objective observer however I have no one idea where you are coming from saying anyone is threatening anyone. Sounds like you’re making crap up. All I know is that in this day and age parents have become completely nuts about their kids and sports. Anyone who decides to become a coach nowadays should automatically get some points in heaven.
Questions I would have for those parents going after Coach Aris is
How long (how many seasons) did you child run from Coach Aris?
If the answer to that is more than 1, then if he was so horrible why did you allow your child to stay on the team?
Exactly. But then there’s the other question. If your kid was injured running last year in middle school and then a couple of months into freshman year gets injured again why would you attack Bill and without even spending a full year in the school move to eliminate a coach that’s been there since you were a kid!
