It always comes down to actions speak louder than words. Kerr has loud words but has rarely if ever lived up to them. Also you only have to look at the numbers. Cole and Kerr have close to identical times in the mile and 1500 but who has the more Olympic and WC golds? Also who has the most lethal kick in the world currently? If it comes down to a close finish my money will be on Hocker every time.

for my money, walker on presence, was on his own level, these super elites were magical. electric. the energy is just different.

Walker battled the leg problems for years. Amazing that he continued on for so long. Many people underrate Walker, not understanding what he went through. Bayi did in fact battle malaria for real, not like Kipketer who used claims of malaria to cover his reactions to blood doping. Bayi was absolutely courageous when he burst on the scene, setting scorching paces that shocked all the sit and kick runners in Europe.
My sole problem with this is they’re not even racing at a mile next most likely. It’s going to be a 3K at World Indoors if Hocker gets top 2 today. So why this specific claim that at earliest would get proven at Pre Classic (which Josh could skip?). They might not race a 1500/mile at all this year! If they do it might not be until August considering you’d imagine Hocker does Pre, Kerr does London and then has the Comm Games.

I become less and less of a fan every time this guy opens his mouth. The high and tight haircut and the huge sunglasses (indoors?) are just too much of a try hard thing that makes it even worse. There's a difference between "having a personality" (cue those comments) and being a total D-bag.

I'm actually coming around to Josh Kerr these days, must be the YouTube videos. He seems to be a realist, and understands that you win some, you lose some, or if you strain your calf, no one is going to care because you didn't win.
His comments about Hocker in the mile/1500m are reasonable, since he has the results over Cole more recently. I think Josh sees Hocker as overrated in the 1500m (and you could make the case that he is), and probably redirecting some publicity spite towards Hocker in the absence of Jakob.

You can be as dense as abrick and ignore the fact Kerr was making his post injury debut or not but both injury free. idk That is a GOOD race. I'd pay pay per view for this lol.
