It looks to me like byu had rinners just dropping down a race for this meet. I expect chamberlain back in mile in 2 weeks so the time today was meaningless.

Not yet - she wins 3K in time trial 8:46.11. Chamberlain was 3rd 8:56.28 less than 40 min after winning 800m in 2:06.21. (Her prelim yesterday was 2:02.52.)

Forgettable winning time, but her 28.67 close had some oomph to it.

So this Texas A&M 800m freshman is the real deal. Beats the Arkansas guys and already has about mstched his 800m outdoors PB. 25.6 for the last 200 is impressive.
