If he’s past his prime on the track, it will be the same thing on the roads.

He ran 1330 which is equivalent to around 28 minutes and probably he would be able to do a half marathon right now in about 1:02:00.
He runs more like a road runner anyway no knee lift and very economical.
If he gets his fueling right he can become a good marathon runner in the 205 to 207 range I believe.
With Woody's style, weight and economical style I see Woody as having even more potential than Joe Klecker at the marathon. Klecker has a huge engine, but 6ft/165-170 risks injury at the marathon. Height/weight disadvantage for Joe, but if I'm wrong (outlier) I'll be delighted.
I couldn't help but chuckle when the camera panned back to the battle for 3rd between Woody and Nagiya and you see Woody absolutely taking it to him on the final 100. Woody with the fastest final lap of the field! Guy's had a legendary career
