You seem to care. Orherwise what are you doing in this thread? :)
“European men have nothing to show for this year” Yes because they prioritize outdoors, they don’t care.
It's not true that they don't care, but you're right that they're prioritising outdoors. The LRC pod team keep saying this is an off year but we have the Euros and Commonwealths in other parts of the world and they matter a lot more than world indoors. They're the priority in an off year
She's going 1:53 this year. Best performance of the indoor season
Keely could run 1:53 high TODAY in a regular sized stadium. Still has to improve at least 0.5s from that to take a crack at Jarmila's mark. Very doable if ALL goes right.

Ultimate World Championships exist too. Europeans know what to peak for, Africans too but at a lesser extent.

We don't have indoor Euros this year.
Nonetheless, Habbz, Nader and Kerr showed enough this season and none of it is really talk-worthy.
I have forgotten Schrub though. He did well in Metz with a 7:29. Attaoui also almost got the WR in 1000m.

This is fair, but the European indoor season has undoubtedly suffered as a result. It doesn’t help that Ethiopia usually holds it down in distance-wise and this is as bleak as I’ve seen it (no Mehary, Tsegay, Aregawi, Welteji ban). Freweyni Hailu the only likely medalist is strange. I suppose Duguma could but I wouldn’t say she’s looked amazing.
Lievin has consistently scored better in World Athletics points over the last few years. Although this year that might change.
Just let's be honest this year has been somewhat lousy. They split up GHB and Hull, and neither run the time they were trying to hit nor are they in compelling races. The men's 800 was solid. That men's 3,000 was OK but the top 3 from Millrose would've wiped the floor with the top 3 in this one. Men's 1500 pretty underwhelming not close to Wanamaker in terms of speed/competitiveness. USA runners care more about indoors and it shows.
Keely just set a WR, can’t say the same for Millrose.

The Euro indoor season is rarely brilliant. Most meets have 1-2 good races but Millrose has moved to the top of the tree of the indoor season. Almost guaranteed 5-6 good races. If it attracted a few more top international athletes, it'd be even better. There's a real chance there for Ray Flynn and USATF to create a meet that is the equivalent to an indoor Diamond League meet

Millrose has always been at the top. It has been the indoor meet standard bearer for generations.
