Was there any evidence that Pre was drunk when he died?

Even if the second car theory is true, that doesn't mean he wasn't drunk. How much did Shorter and all say he drank at the party? Even a BAC below today's legal limit reduces reaction time and reduces control. There would be a tendency to overcorrect the line being taken much more than someone not drunk. Overcorrect -> flipped car

There is no evidence he was drunk. Only Shorter knows and all he says is he was drinking. People drank and drove all the time in the 70's, not as much public awareness of the problem it causes. His judgement was most likely impaired, he was NOT out of control drunk.

My point is that he didn't have to be out of control drunk to be impaired. Haven't ever seen those videos where they test/demonstrate the driving skills of people at various blood alcohol levels on a closed course? In situations like swerving lane changes to avoid obstacles, the drivers were worse at those skills even with BAC under the current legal limit. They tend to react slower and then overdo the steering and correction making them more likely to flip the car.

that's not true....there have been many accidents on and around that bend over the years....the difference is; no famous people died.....so you didn't hear about it.
