We also analyze the weather of the two places. More importantly, we have confirmation from USATF those are the only two cities that bid.

PS. Let's hope that WA and IOC make it so the Trials actually mean something. We are paying for the damn Olympics. Let us have 3 marathoners. At a minimum, the standard / World rank should go to the country, not the athlete so the Trials mean something.

    I want champs events to move around on rotation like everyone else does but we should use the same mary course for the OT2028 as the LA2028 Olys will use.

    Any Ideas when we will know the selection? The article says it will be awarded in May. Well, its May. And I'm trying to finalize my travel plans for 2028. What is the hold up? Anyone with any insider informations?

    In May. You will still have plenty of time to book Greyhound by the end of the month.

    This year was atypical.

    Typical weather is a low in the high 50s and a high in the upper 70s to mid 80s.

    If they just hold the race near dawn, should be ok.
