The stupidity of the USAID cuts(a program that even Trump supported in his first term) in terms of killing off hundreds of thousands/millions of people in addition to hurting US soft power in the developing world while saving a relative pittance is baffling especially in light of Musks supposed worries about depopulation. I guess unless you look at who is doing the dying.
Also its good that only 5 Starship rockets exploded this year. Im confident they can make it through at least April before another one explodes. When I hear the launch window comes every 2 years and it takes 9 months to get to a neighboring planet all that says to me is that we aren't ready to go to Mars. We need to improve propulsion. What they are attempting right now is the equivalent of transcontinental daily mail service in 1850- a great idea except for one thing- no f'in airplanes! Plus his dumb rationale of Mars is a life raft is so insanely stupid although I guess its harder to say you're just making shi t up to pump up stock value.
ok no more ranting anyone care to bet on whether they make the 2026 window
He's going to need that money!. As head of DOGE he wasn't a protected government employee. DOGE's actions are expected to cost U.S. Taxpayers 1 trillion dollars over the next decade while reducing U.S. services and causing millions of deaths worldwide. DOGE was mostly zero net financially (due to extreme incompetence and sociopathic priorities) except by gutting the IRS to benefits tax cheats will result in the trillion dollar loss over 10 years. The poor Sociopath is on the line to be sued in the future for some or all of the financial damage he caused.

Yeah, funding DEI musicals in Ireland and transgender clinics in India is key!
GDP is the market value of all goods and services produced in a year
net worth is the sum of all assets held
Elons assets are not worth more than the value of all companies, all properties, all infrastructure etc in Belgium
Elons income in 2025 was not higher than the GDP of Belgium in 2025
The tax revenue of Denmark was 30% of GDP for 2025 or 459Billion. 30% of 459 is 137 billion. I am pretty sure that Elon's net worth (assets - not income) at the end of 204 was 334 billion. Elon's net worth increased by more than the tax revenue collected by Denmark. Business is much more productive than government.
As an economist, I can tell you that wrongdimensions' analysis is completely correct. And if your analysis is how you estimate your own net worth, you might be in trouble.
