How are 90% of the most wealthy people in this country not lazy when all they did to get their money was be born and inherit it... and not have to pay any taxes on that inheritance?
A million out of a billion people? The US had over 10 million illegal immigrants from 2020-2024.
The US has the most millionaires of any country in the world with about 25 million millionaires. The rate of millionaires is either 4th or 5th in the world depending on which study you reference. I’d say capitalism is working pretty well.
Yep and they all became wealthy through honest work. Capitalism definitely doesn't exploit the working class.
Most millionaires did get there by honest work and years of saving/investing. This is the same forum that says most millionaires drive a Toyota, which is true. If you’re over 55 and have been investing a modest amount for the past 30 years, it is not that hard to have a million dollar net worth.
Sure, there are a lot of d bags driving a Lambo that took advantage of others to get millions, but it’s a fraction of the low 7 figure net worth population.
I don't understand why Americans decided that they deserve less money than so called socialists in Scandinavia? Why won't you just choose a government that is nice to you?

Recent studies have shown that the notion that most millionaires are born into wealth is a myth. Recent studies have shown that the notion that most millionaires are born into wealth is a myth. In fact, over two-thirds of mil...
Does anyone truly think capitalism is to blame for this? What percent of Cubans make less than $35,000/year?
Pretty much every Cuban not in the government. That’s the secret to communism: you have to be a politico to make money (that is taken from everybody else).

Dude...You are full of poop...Most wealthy people EARNED their money..Google it...
I grew up on Food stamps and now I'm a RICH teacher making over 90k...the American dream is real.
but really, not everyone is meant to be rich. people can survive on a lot less money than most of us make. it's a problem that people feel like everyone should have everything they want. entitlement culture. move somewhere affordable. go to work everyday. eat inexpensive food. get the $50 phone from walmart with a mint mobile plan.

My dad grew up in a low-income house. He worked hard, went to college, and we grew up in a solid middle class home. My kids grew up in a higher-income home than I did. It did not take 4.5 generations, just two. Hard work is the difference.
You mean, like every runner slower than you has not worked hard enough?
Do you think any person could run a sub-3 marathon if they work hard enough? Good for you and your kids. But you don't seem to understand the concept of "average."
Life is not fair. Some people work harder, some are more talented, some had better parents, etc. That doesn't mean you just take from the successful people and give to the unsuccessful people. Using your running example:
Person A: talented and hardworking, runs a 4:00 mile pr
Person B: lazy and/or not talented. Runs a 5:00 mile pr
Under your preferred communist strategy, we would take about 30 seconds from the faster runner and give it to the slower runner. Now Person A has a 4:30 mile pr and Person B has a 4:30 mile pr! How about that, they are basically the same runner! Does that sound fair to you? Why do you want to do this with people's money?
