odira is more likely to be stripped because there are actually kenyan athletes that get tested/caught, but bahrain athletes - eg yavi - are probably the most egregious out there.
Not even very confident Odira is a doper. She has two kids, so she basically is only two years into her career after the pregnancies. That’s why her progression at 25-26 actually passes the smell test a little bit. Go back to when she was 16-17 and she’s clearly talented. Her career just got put on hold for like 5 years.
Unbelievable progressions are always because careers are "put on hold". Everyone should put their career on hold. It's the formula for success. But mainly for Kenyans, it seems.
Every finalist in any running event is a potential bust. Just depends how much risk they are willing to take with the glow factor or how careful they or their medical attendants are with the protocols.

Having kids is a bit of an extenuating circumstance, wouldn’t you say? I’m as suspicious of a random Kenyan coming out of the blue as the next person, but it is undeniable there are still a ton of talented runners in Kenya, and not all of them are doping.
There’s no chance Femke is a doper. She is too naive of a personality to think that everything isn’t sunshine and rainbows all the time and doesn’t fit the personality of a doper at all. She’s just freaking good.

Having kids is a big job and time consuming. It wouldn't be a recipe for the kind of obsessive single-minded success that pro running requires.
As far as Kenyans are concerned, their doping is so endemic that none of their athletes can now be trusted to be clean. They have done that to their sport. When I see Kenyan I think E German now.

Bell and Bartoletti? Yes, they’re doping.
Bell and Bartoletti for sure. Bol, maybe. If she was doping I would pick her to be faster than SML. 50 for the hurdles and 47-mid for the flat.

Odira and Sedjati for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if we either never see Odira race again, or if she never breaks 1:58 again.
Sedjati: there's so much smoke around him but he's been on the circuit long enough to cover his tracks well. If he gets popped, it'll be for a whereabouts failure

Who is Bartoletti, Dumbo?
Ask the poster I was responding to. So when you watch runners on the track you are always thinking of spelling? Explains why you don't understand the sport.
I think Wightman's one of the cleanest athletes just by the way he looks gassed and really looks like he pushes his body the hardest when he kicks. I would put Nader in there, very consistent athlete. Was very strained and shocked at the end result.

Nader isn't consistent. He has been a mere journeyman for most of his career till this year when his prs shot up - at age 26. No one saw him as a likely winner and to win the way he did. He finished like he had had an adrenaline injection in the rear. Did I say "like"?
