It’s pretty obvious that if parents have a job in Syracuse they have to live in the commutable area and that includes east, west, north and south of the city. No one is talking about Wash or NYC. The point the poster is making is that there are many many school districts in the drivable area. They chose to move to neighborhoods that are part of the FM district. They do that BEFORE high school. Not sure what girls you are referring to but they grew up in those neighborhoods for a reason.
All true, but these kids aren't transfers. They are just Syracuse area kids enrolled at an affluent high school, where the family must live in the school district.
There are tons of schools like this in Chicago suburbs, Minneapolis suburbs, Pittsburgh suburbs, North Jersey suburbs and the Cal Southern Section.
My belief is that Aris would have had similar success even at a less affluent school.
FM also was well ahead of the affluent schools I mention above.
Transfers talked about on LRC are like the PA champ whose Dad was transferred to DC, and enrolled at #US Loudon Valley, or the recent PA girl who moved with her family to Washington St. It's not simply about living in a good school district.
FM struggling now. Did all the affluent families move away? of is it just that the coach having trouble now recruiting from a comparable student body.
