Honestly, if he's looking to exaggerate his athletic accomplishments, take advantage of gullible joggers, and do it all while having a strange personality, McKirdy is the best possible place this guy could have gone.
If he's lying, then he's lying. If he isn't lying, then he isn't You might want to reserve your 'worry and distain' for something that impacts you and quit being the self-appointed 'Post Police'.
was curious so I checked out his Youtube channel based off this thread.
he moved to Flagstaff and joined McKirdy. he wears camera glasses and records all his runs. he hoped in with a bunch of pro runners on trails and at Lumberjack Stadium and posted all of it to his YouTube page. You'd see bits and pieces of Nike Swoosh, NAZ Elite, McKirdy, even the NAU track team throughout his videos. he even posted the splits the Nike Swoosh guys were running.
while I watched I kept asking myself "I wonder if all those runners know they're being recorded?"
sure enough, in his last video he said was kicked off McKirdy for filming other runners workouts without their permission and he left Flagstaff for good. what a dope.

What’s funny about lying is that his target demographic would think all of his REAL times might as well be olympic caliber.
I see people running successful online coaching programs with 4:55 17:30 type PBs and they are treated like running royalty.
This is actually so true and points to deep-seated insecurity. To any person who might be a client, practically speaking, the differences between the numbers is greek.
But to him, because these seemingly minute differences matter so much and affect his psyche so much, they're worth positing even if they're untrue.

he seems slightly delusional, maybe on the spectrum - the fact he moved all the way to Flagstaff to live the life of a real pro runner and run on the same track as all the pros he wishes he was just fed into it. it was like fantasy camp. he barely made it 4 months before he wore out his welcome and left.
and McKirdy is a weird group. Only a few runners have financial support, sponsors (i.e. Julia Paternain) the rest pay to be on the team. He was one of those. Imagine screwing up so bad McKirdy doesn't even want your money.

Dude is a decent runner 8:20 -3000, 30:48 - 10K and those are times that most joggers can only dream about but he lost credibility by lying and I don't believe for one minute that he ran a 28:55 10,000 meter time trial - it doesn't add up and the sad thing is he lied once so that means he can lie again and he loses credibility in front of potential clients but I wish him luck. If this guy has a decent IQ, maybe he should apply to law school because there are plenty of people like him who became lawyers. Just saying.
such a weird follow. he is absolutely a narcissist, possibly on the spectrum (nothing wrong with that at all), and delusional. even the way he talks is interesting. dude is like obsessed over filming and recording and talking to himself and others. but ya to get kicked off for filming others with consent is laughable. now he's back in california training solo and making the same type of content. whatever floats his boat. i think the only people that watch his videos are his friends from california or kids he has coached in the past. i think any random person finding his channel would quickly see from a few videos that this guy is a bit of a wacko and a self centered oblivious dope lol. he talks like he's a freshman in highschool and he seems amazed at the most basic things such as a bowl of spaghetti or finding leftover items in an airbnb ("OHMERRRGAWD HECK YA DOOD!"). what a character.
kid is fast but nothing is going to materialize for him in running unless he maybe can compete professionally for the Philippines since that country is weak in distance. apparently he'll run a marathon next year. I could see him going sub 2:20, but that's not saying much these days.
what i don't get is how the guy is seemingly in his mid/upper 20s with no job and just basically bumming life running full time and recording youtube videos with meta glasses. someone said he's rich...maybe thats true but he doesnt come off like someone who has money. i guess he must have made significant income from airbnb or selling real estate though since thats what he alluded to in past videos and i just dont really see how a guy that has no normal/real job is continuing to live this long. so he must have made bank and is living off of it but who knows if his $ is running out or if he is loaded

As I posted previously, he is got a complex thinking he is one of the pros when he isn't. The guy already reached his max. It's not even so near but so far. You can say that to 28 mins guy but guy isn't that. Noticed he loves throw down "bro" with such insecurity. Why would you call someone one when you barely know or just met the person. Trying to to flex to hard to be one of the alphas. You're like 120 lbs. Nobody will mistake for one.
