that course is short but that's still actually really impressive.
Temple and Friedrich went 14:45 and 53 at Wooster. Mason beat Springboro by 4 points on the boys side.

Crazy fast meets like Wooster in early September just set up your team for failure. Kids will work their rear ends off all year, never get any faster, and be discouraged the remainder of the season.
Good to see Temple stepping it up in the big senior year. He's always been there during the past two seasons, just a step behind and running in the shadows of the biggest names of SE Ohio during his sophomore and junior years.
No more. He is taking the lead and could be one of the men to beat come October and November. It's good to see.
Am curious to see how Toledo St. Francis ultimately does in Division II this year.
About a year too late on this…They graduated 5 of their top 6.
However, D2 represented well in the Northwest
-Lexington (1)
-Bowling Green (4)
-Anthony Wayne (7)
-Toledo St Francis (27)
Or maybe it prepares you to run at the state meet? Which is also fast.
Loveland beats Little Miami at Little Miami. After Little Miami beat Loveland at Loveland just last week. Interesting. Both top 5 or better teams in D1 and D2. Will be a great battle between them and a few others for the ECC title.
4 Divisions makes a lot of sense, but a little bummed how it dilutes the field.

Lakota East girls won a close team race at Little Miami with 88 over Kings with 99, Little Miami (100), Sycamore (104), and Loveland (109).
Lakota Est has a really solid top 3 placing them all in the top 8 but don't get a lot of support at their 4 & 5 spots. They came in 27th and 50th.
Does anyone know if Hannah Jicha of Strongsville has committed yet?

Yeah, I am curious to see how well / if they reload this year.
It's good to see that the D2 NW region is looking tough this year after being the "fourth of four" regionals in D1 for so many years. All of those teams made the downshift from D1 to D2 this year but they all still very much have a "D1-quality" to them.
