Guys like Giles (3:31.13) and Hoare (3:31.15) had something of a return to form
Vincent Ciattei with a 3:31.69 PB leapfrogs Steve Scott on the U.S. all-time list (now #13), and only places 12th
World champ standard for 1500 is
3:33.00

Yeah, as shown by the SBs and strong place times, I think everyone but Reynold basically ran the race close to perfectly.
The two guys definitively in sub-3:30 shape hit it, and the pace was perfect for them and probably Reynold had he put in the necessary surge to get to the top 5 early.
