The only absolute disaster that the UK has seen this century was the Great Recession, which knocked incomes down from an all-time high of over $50k to just $38k, thanks to the absolutely lame Tory austerity measures. Since then, the country's income has recovered in fits and starts to a near all-time high of over $49k in 2023, and presumably it is literally now at an all-time high, not exactly being destroyed now, is it? London itself had a per capita income of 63,400 pounds in 2022. It is doing very well, indeed. It generates 22% of the UK's economic activity.

What if London being 50% white now really does become 30% white in a few years but it's not because people are immigrating and bringing non-English culture with them, but instead all the white Londoners decide to stop having babies while all the current non-white Londoners reproduce like rabbits, to the point that it's just organic growth of non-white people. But we still have English culture - tea, monarchy, football, bad food, chip chip cheerio.

The west includes the US and Europe.
Western civilization is rooted in Christianity. Whether you are a Christian or an atheist if you were brought up in the US or Europe you were brought up under Christian morality whether you're aware of it or not.
Islamic and other countries live under a different moral code and in many cases it is incompatible with democracy and freedom.
