Bekele stated that he was in hard Marathon training while running NYC half. Didnt arrive early to avoid jetlag, slept bad and had a full stomach running.
He looks way better now, not WR good, but he will be top5 today! Leeeeets go King Kenny!!!
Men’s lead pace is 2:02:20. 2nd group is 2:05 for emile to go for Farah’s British record
What British Runner is going for Farah's Record? Marc Scott ran a 27:10 for 10000 so I guess he could TRY for it, Emile Cairess has run 2:08.07 and is running well, I think both are Capable of dipping under 2:07 if EVERYTHING goes right for them, but 2:05.10 seems unreal, I mean If they are going for it, Their Ambition is admirable, and I hope they prove me wrong and run it, I just don't see it, I see 2:06 mid to high as realistic but difficult, 2:05 low I would be shocked
Apparently Emile Cairess is going for it. We’ll see but hope he has a good race and secures his Olympic spot.
My nephew is running, but as he's 6.6 and around 250 pounds (2.04/115kg), it will be a tough day. He's aiming for 4:30.
They're not showing the lead men's race, but flitting between wheelchair, showing the masses, and interviewing Anthony Joshua, British heavyweight boxer.
