Every woman who runs is my sister.
We share something, a special bond that I cannot explain to people who don't run. Runners are the most vulnerable individuals, when I run it's just me day and night and I do worry sometimes.
But running is beautiful almost spiritual.
When men attack and kill us like they did Eliza Fletcher or Wendy Martinez or Karina Vetrano and Venessa Marcotte and so many other women murdered just out doing what they love sisterhood. a
Although it is rare that men are murdered while out running and I really had no fear in my pretransition life, but of course we remember the heinous cold-blooded murder of Ahmaud Arbery by racist individuals.
To me the people who to these vulnerable people, and the ones who kill women not only murder them but in most cases s*xually assault and r*pe them.
These perps are monsters and why I will never be against the death penalty for pure disgusting and inhumane evil like this :(
