I have seen videos where people calim math is racist. Playing the race card has become so predictable.
We need more people to step up and join the police forces throughout this country. That includes people of color.
Denouncing racist behavior is not "playing the race card", even if you think people should suffer in silence instead of pointing out wrongs when they see them.
Maybe, or it's just a smart allocation of resources. Wouldn't you want speeding camera to be located where the most speeding is happening?
Yes, I agree with that. But for the average people who live in those neighborhoods (90% of people are just average) then they get busted way more than the average people in other neighborhoods.
The "racist" part is that someone who is just an normal person gets more speeding tickets because of the neighborhood they live in, not because of anything they are doing different than the rest of us. That is what is unfair.
And seriously, if you are the weirdo who goes exactly 45 in a 45, fine, you can ignore this post, but most of the planet is going 5-7 over the limit. I just don't dinged for it when I do.
yes! This is the hard truth. We all speed. All of us. So, why not set up more cameras in the rich neighborhoods for this fundraising, which is what cameras are really for. Because they cant--tax base. So, in fairness you should treat the poor neighborhoods the same, and take those down. Lets be clear, this has NEVER been about safety*.
*Dont get me started on hwy patrol pulling people over during july 4th traffic which causes massive back ups and rear enders. They make 100$ on a ticket, 100000 cars have to move over to one lane to get around the patrol car. Try driving through Ohio on a holiday or summer weekend. No doubt hwy patrol causes more accidents than they solve. (but i digress)
