Murphy and Hoppel really made it look easy. The way that they finished and kept jogging makes me think they have much, much more to give.
Yeah I have some optimism that these guys can make the final and break 1:44 if they remain injury free. Big IF with these two of late. They look like they’re back to being good again.
If anybody alive does, she does. Maybe the record is too doped or windy to ever be broken, but SCR is going to be a dominant force if she can stay focused. If ETH can run 10.5x, SCR can do better. She’s jogging 10.7s
She ran 10.75 FOUR years ago. She is talented but we can agree to disagree. She is not jogging 10.7s but maybe she is relaxed. Not sure she can run much faster. We shall see.

He labored. Really awesome for him to make the final, but I think it’s the end of the line this year. He’s not going to make the team. He’s not ready to beat Harris or Jewett, but he had a great season.

He looks uncomfortable the faster the race goes out. So I’d be a little wary. Not sure what’s going on with Devin Dixon…finally looked like he’d figured it out, and then looks completely out of his depth in his two races.
