He mentioned Bybee and Clark as Lone Peak’s top 2, but Rummler (who was not in their top 7 last year), ran the fastest 3200 time. He may actually be their #1 if his track times translate to XC well

He talked about American Fork’s lack of depth behind their top 5. But in addition to their top 5 (Simmons, Bradshaw, Jaster, Pack, Evans), they also have Orr who ran a 9:38 and he was able to keep up with (and even beat) some of their top 5 during summer time trials, so he will make their varsity deeper.

Kaden Chatfield (the Riverton guy) he talked so much about actually goes to Riverton WY, not UT. Huge difference there

How did Chatfield get into the Riverton results and stay there for so long? I've been confused about him for a while and was hoping this podcast guy knew what the deal was.

Should be a good preview of Herriman Boys and the American Fork Girls.

Some dark horses that could make an early season splash could be the Farmington and Herriman Girls. Past that, it's impossible to guess off of the data we have.

Helm won this race. They now have a solid top 5 which is great.
Ghiz was a little far back but he was sometimes their #1 last year so I think he can step up.

Riverton definitely has potential to get top 3 at NXR and go to NXN

oh boy another very strong utah team

Riverton won the Runninglane national championship last year.
They also took 5th at NXR SW, where only 2 of their top 7 were seniors. Most of their varsity this year is seniors.
They also never made NXN before.
I think that these things made them hungry to qualify for NXN.
They just need to make sure they don’t go out too hard at NXR like they did last year.
