I used to go to LV a lot pre pandemic. For a while a friend got me into playing roulette - pick a number and play up to 20 spins at $100 per spin. For years he always hit at least once so would leave up at least $1500. I saw him hit a number 4 times in 15 spins including 3 out of 4 spins. I did ok for a while but more like 50% wins which is more in line with odds. But then he lost his luck......and failed to win for years. We then turned to craps and for a while I won the All Small, Tall, and All bets at least 25% of the time despite the really high house edge. That is what gets the adrenaline going. Just playing the pass line and 1 or 2 numbers can be boring if the other numbers come up too often. But I always set a limit where I would stop, and never established a line of credit (ie like bringing a blank check) so nothing I won or lost would in any way change my life. I also pretty much played table minimums and then pressed. And right next to me someone playing with $1,000 everywhere I had $10.
Never had much luck with the hard ways, but I did see someone walk up, buy 4 $25 chips, and in about 10 rolls hit a hard 8, full press, and hit again. $2,250 thank you very much. I tried playing just the hard 8 bet one time and in about 20 rolls saw 2-3 (each) hard 4s, hard 6s, hard 10s. But no hard 8.
But Craps is a great game if the table is going decently, but absolutely the worst if it is cold. Very amazing how often it goes in streaks of hot and cold, and how less frequently things just go along per the odds. Even wrote an Excel macro workbook to simulate the game, and it goes the same way. Long runs of 7s coming up 25% or so of the time, and then a long "roll" of 40 or so "rolls" with no 7.
So gambling or Disney, whatever gives you the pleasure or thrill....just don't budget anything you can't afford to be without.
