Are you aware that there are videos showing him ripping up documents that are, according to the law, supposed to be preserved? If he didn't like the law, he could have had his party change it when they held both Congressional houses and the WH. Since he didn't bother, he should comply with the law or be treated as a lawbreaker.

DJT can publish the warrant. In it is listed all evidence the FBI was searching for. A judge read this warrant, examined the evidence to support this claim behind the warrant, and signed off on it. It is puerile to suggest that professionals would carry out a search randomly in public without evidence. That's actually how DJT comports himself.

They do what they want to do and investigate what they want to investigate. They go after who they want to go after. Hoover was no arch conservative. He was a big government republican like the country club republicans that followed in the pre-Reagan era. Happy to be the number two party and enjoy the comforts of government careers. Now Coolidge was one of the best conservative presidents (and he didn't trust Hoover)
