Yep. nice poem, incidentally.
I run shirtless quite a bit, and I live/train in the middle of nowhere. Plus strong tendency for nipples to chafe if I wear a cotton t-shirt, don't always have a clean wicking/mesh running top while squeezing in a run between meetings/meals/other obligations and parts of life. I've got a few singlets, and practically never train in one, so yeah when race day comes around it does kind of feel like "wtf am I wearing" compared to my most frequent choices of cotton t-shirt / nothing at all.
When the sun comes up and how long I plan to run.

What are your parameters?
weather? workout? location? who your running with?
The only time that I do not run shirtless in summer is if I’m with a group of runners and nobody else is going shirtless.
I like the top and bottom to match. So if I am running without pants/shorts, I will run shirtless.
