What does this even mean? In 2019, he went 2/2 winning the DMR in an epic race and then winning Outdoor NCAA's. In 2021, he finished 23rd at Nationals in XC and helped his team to 2nd. That's showing up for sure. He then ran great in the 1500, but Hocker beat him yes. Yes literally he didn't win, and these performances were second (or secondary), but they were great performances nonetheless.
