He's lost the 13/27 speed after major surgery, 6 years of marathon focus, and reaching his mid 30s. But no one can credibly argue that he wasn't one of the greatest American distance runners ever. And name one American man who could beat him over 26 miles, even in 2022.

This is what a clean Galen Rupp looks like. No record breaker here. 42:31 which is barely sub 60 pace for a half marathon except he was only able to go 9.3 miles at sun 60 half marathon pace. Still a solid effort.
Galen is 35 y.o. and will be 36 in two months. His best days are behind him. Surely, if he stoped using some or all of the PEDs then the decline curve will get even steeper.

Doping with what? This guy is the most tested athlete in T&F…….If he’s doping or has been I would hope that’d he’d be caught at some point.
And don’t bring up Lance - we ALL know Lance failed multiple tests, they were just covered up.
