who the heck needs shoes?

Whether or not you have to wear adidas spikes depends on what school you go to. A few schools, i know Tennessee for sure, are PAID to wear adidas, so they have to. If your school is just SPONSORED by adidas, you dont have to wear them, you just get them free. But I think there's only like 3 or 4 ncaa d1 teams that are paid to wear adidas(because of their football or basketball teams, of course)

Wisconsin once got in big trouble at nationals w/ Nike when they wore Sporthill stir-up pants on the podium. Martin smith made sure those pants became practice only gear after that butt chewing.

No, it isn't. If you needed to know then you wouldn't have to come here to ask or find out.

alright man, ask yourself what the point is of a forum or message board. it's for asking questions and discussing topics. wisconsin not wearing their sponsor's spikes is a good discussion topic

Wisconsin made the right choice, Nike has way better spikes(distance at least) than Adidas. I base this on a survey of 10 runners, (all of whom are me.)

Those Wisconsin Cross Country t-shirts are cool...are they available somewhere?

actually, i saw Simon running down Monroe Street yesterday morning driving to work and sure enough, he had a pair of Adidas training shoes on.
