I actually think that the Gouchers are too mature for this (especially at this stage in their lives and with Kara having an NBC gig). The obsessive is probably someone naive who wouldn't understand that there would be a good chance their name would come out at some point and it wouldn't be a good look. If I was to suspect anyone involved in "professional running", it would be a person who an axe to grind and has already burned all of their bridges with Nike. And since very few people in the sport of professional running have stable and disposable incomes, I would look at someone that has both.

Interesting that someone would hire an investigator. Michael Smith was pretty clear and upfront when taking Rupp on that he wasn't willing to put up with any nonsense. He's got a great thing going at NAU and isn't willing to jeopardize it to coach Rupp.
