Just checking in with the deranged woke. How is Russia doing? Has their economy collapsed by now? Have they lost all their men? All their equipment? Has NATO taken over Russia? Has Putin been overthrown and killed? Last I heard this should have happened by March 5. I'm still waiting...
Which, by the way, raises a question: will USA with its HIMARS support to Ukraine kill more Ukrainians than Russia by the time this war ends?
Around 44.000 Ukrainian separatists are fighting in Donbas against Kievs regime and regular army.
Oh good. Now we all agree that the people of Donetsk, Luhansk, and Crimea are Ukrainian, not Russian.
You're missing the point (again), my boy. Those Ukrainian citizens in Donbas have been fighting against illegal (!) Ukrainian government since 2014. To a point, where they asked Kremlin for help - multiple international news outlets have reported on that.
So a question for you: WHICH Ukraine are you supporting? Are you ok with killing Ukrainian citizens in Donbas with your taxpayer financed HIMARS?
You do realize, that American HIMARS is killing Ukrainians in Ukraine? Just a yes or no question.

Um, yes? Have you been reading the news? Auto imports dropped 97%, the Russians are desperately trying to recruit pensioners and criminals direct from prison, and they're pulling ancient T-62s out of storage. The mercenaries and press-ganged conscripts they're able to force to fight, at gunpoint at necessary, are getting chewed to hamburger by daily frontal assaults against fortified positions that have been prepared for 14 years and accomplishing nothing. How many more days can this go on before the whole thing collapses? Looks like we're going to find out.
Hey, did you hear that the U.S. is now sending long-term military support to Ukraine? We've got hundreds - maybe thousands - of F-16s and other current-generation military jets parked out in the desert waiting for a good home (and pilots to fly them). In case you don't remember, the F-16 platform has something like a 117-0 record against Russian combat aircraft of all types. Hopefully by spring we'll have Ukrainian pilots using them to send NATO missiles up the tailpipes of Russian air and ground forces. It's gonna be epic.

If this was the case, I could see how Kremlin could consider such action as a declaration of war and just use Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles to simply level Kiev. And maybe not only Kiev.

Hey, I also heard that Russia was involved. There were some events about six months ago, I think with Russian soldiers attacking by way of Belarus, which is weird because that's not very close to the Donbas, but whatever. Did you see it in the news? There were some articles about it back in February.
Actually it seemed pretty quiet in the Donbas back then, and then suddenly there were like 100,000 Russians all attacking Kyiv and Kharkiv, but then I saw some articles about drones and Javelin missiles. Did you ever find out what happened after that? It was right after the Superbowl. Next thing I knew, there were no Russians anywhere close to Kyiv and Kharkiv, and they als seemed to go back to Donbas. You'd think with all those 100,000 Russsians helping in Donbas something would have happened, but then I read an article about HIMARS and ever since, basically nothing has happened in Donbas. I don't get it. It's like a dozen modern Western weapons systems are worth the entire Russian army. Weird. Did you ever figure out what was going on with that?

Be careful what you wish for :)
HIMARS and Javelins blow Russian army all to hell: Well okay, I guess. I was just asking questions.
F-16s blow Russian army all to hell: THIS MEANS WAR
Poland: NATO ARTICLE 5 F*** YEAH!!!!
Seriously, dude, what's going to be left of the Russian army to fight with? Their gear just wasn't that good to begin with, the best pieces have been getting turned to scrap (when they haven't been getting repainted with Ukrainian camo) for 6 months and counting. And you think there's some Wunderwaffe that's going to save the day for Russia? You might want to read up on the Nazi experience with the V-1 and V-2. If you do, you might just discover more historical parallels than you're bargaining for.

Turned out it was impossible to scare Kiev into submission without having to level it. So Kremlin concentrated on the East and South regions, where over 80% of population speaks Russian as their native language. Something something, now Russia controls over 20% of Ukraine.

The US has been instrumental in maintaining a relatively peaceful world order since WW2.
The US has been overtly at War (or, as the Russians call it, "conducting a special military operation") for 67 of the last 81 years.
Since 1986, the US has been at war every year until this 2022. 35 of the last 36 years.
Add in covert operations, and the United States has been militarily engaged every year.
You have been drinking the Kool-Aid if you think this is "maintaining a relatively peaceful world".
It certainly was not peaceful for the million-plus people killed.
"Relatively" speaks to the (unrealized) alternative to western hegemony and interventionism during the cold war and post cold war eras. Obviously any evaluation is subjective, but just filling out the "bad" column misses the point.
Armed conflict and civilian casualties don't go away if the U.S. stays home.
Note that I'd agree that the US, the EU, NATO, the UN and so forth are deeply flawed instantiations of the liberal world order one might hope for and they have done regrettable things. I'm just having a hard time imagining a better realizable alternative.

These uncritical consumers of Western Propaganda seem to think this is a game and Russia is losing.
They are supporting policies guaranteed to kill many more people.
People in Europe and America are also suffering with massive inflation and energy and power shortages.
The Euro is cratering as the ruble soars.
No way UKraine can avoid getting wrecked unless NATO (America) fully enters the war thus risking a nuclear destruction of the planet.
Western leaders are fanatic tribalists who have purged the experts and the realists.
Ruble is one measure of the Russian economy, with the rest of the indicators floundering. Paint the full gloomy economic picture rather cherry picking the one indicator that has a pulse (artificially inflated).
Russia has lost this war no matter the gains or losses that result. Their superpower status has been stripped. Young, educated Russians have left. War crime prosecutions and reparations will drain Russia for decades. Trade and travel opportunities are severely limited. Sanctions, impounds, closed shipping and flight paths, assassinations, switching to wartime manufacturing, conscription, jail time for opposing views, etc. Russia has already lost!

Yes, the strawman arguments/statements you claim to have posed on March 5th are still intact. Good job, dude . . . .
