Even if he did it, it was 36 years ago, can't a person redeem himself, I mean everyone considers Malcolm X a hero, and was a pimp, a drug dealer, he robbed houses etc, yet he redeemed himself and is considered a national hero. Why the Double Standard.
I mean Kavanaugh probably has a cleaner record than over 80% of the people on this thread, I have made mistakes in the past, how come the media is not talking about the wrongs I have done, as much as Kavanaugh is being accused of, I HAVE ACTUALLY DONE WRONG BEFORE, not just accused of, I actually DID SOME BAD THINGS in my life, I know most wont believe me and I have no proof, But yes I have done wrong before, WHY AM I NOT SCRUTINIZED AS MUCH AS KAVANAUGH for the wrongs I did 36 or so years ago, are they going to hold what I have done wrong and not allow me to work?
I believe in EQUALITY, and I see Kavanaugh being held to a higher standard than me or even Malcolm X, EVERYONE HAS TO BE HELD TO THE SAME STANDARD.
Malcolm X was a convicted felon. Malcolm X paid a big price for his anti-social behavior. Malcolm X admitted after he was convicted that he had been a bad person. The person named Malcolm X had three names and three phases of his life, He was born Malcolm Little. While in prison and then while employed by Nation of Islam, he was Malcolm X. The highest level Malcolm reached while named Malcolm X was Imam of Nation of Islam Mosque #7 in Harlem. Malcolm was also one of Nation of Islam's leading national speakers. Is Judge Kavanaugh interested in being an Imam for Nation of Islam? Let's have that discussion!
