Agree. But they really blew it, and the 100m is unforgiving.
Good to see AHSB in, though.
Seville, I think he was pretty much at his limit. He will be interesting next year—and even this year, some guys like Bromell might fall apart in the final.
Something’s sprint-wrong tonight in Eugene, maybe it’s the non-commital weather, maybe lack of sun, barometer fluctuating, idk. It’s just not sprint-fast, and so far, guys have not been “on”. Tebogo and Hughes stumble badly; Flake can’t get it going; Bromell flakes out and misses an active cycle;
Kerley, CC, Seville, Bracy, and Simbine were more solid—especially the first 3. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were the medalists.
I’m not so sure the Americans weren’t just holding back after the lessons of last years Olympic semis. But Blake/Tebogo and some others just stunk it up. Could be warmer and more humid but the women ran fast in the heats .
THe streaming listings just say Peacock, not Peacock Plus, so maybe it's the free tier. Though I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't. It sucks, but Peacock Plus is only $5 dollars. Worth it for a month, IMO, for that insurance policy of coverage.
I checked. You do need either Peacock Premium ($4.99) or Peacock Premium PLus ($9.99). The difference is that Plus has no commercials.
So Peacock Premium = NBC feed with commercials and Peacock Premium Plus = World Feed with no commercials?

For sure they were holding back a bit, but the whole thing seemed a bit confused and disorganized.
How about Simbine, that guy always manages to show up at champs.
