Which could mean that the moderates will split the vote and let a lefty win...polling is terrible in NYC. We don't really know what is happening. But ranked choice voting should keep a moderate ahead.

Does this translate to the rest of hte nation or is it just chance? Maybe there isn't such a move to the left in the Dem party - maybe it's just a few loudmouths like AOC.

It’s a few loudmouths but I see mayor and governor campaigns and mandates as completely different than for Congress members. They have to run their cities and states so PR will only go so far. And after de Blasio I think NYers are not feeling so warm toward lefty politics right now. IMO he was terrible and didn’t help the D cause.

It's a possibility but it's going to take a lot of work (as opposed to my complaining on discussion boards!).

The GOPers have no policy positions to put forward, but they're not comfortable with that anyway and I believe they will have a lot of success being The Party of Nuh-Uh. Even in the complete absence of evidence, they've been able to convince a substantial fraction of the electorate that fraud cost them the White House; even in the absence of knowing what socialism *is* (come on, how many Republicans--or Dems for that matter--could provide an accurage definition?), many GOP voters are terrified of it and will be easy to convince that anything they don't like is socialistic. And remember that hate and fear are what most effectively drive people to the polls.

I have a handwriting disability but nevertheless I pledge to write a hundred of those Postcards to Voters between now and 11/2022. I hope others will do similar *work* to hold Congress. Preaching to the choir on LRC or Facebook won't accomplish much.

The forensic audit in AZ will be completed late June/early Aug. It will show that Trump won. More states (GA, WI, MI & PA) will perform their audits and it will also show that Trump won those as well.

That's a good point and it shows why Republicans should have voted for the January 6th commission instead of killing it. They had the opportunity to put the investigation into the hands of a boring commission that would eventually come out with a boring report that few would read and would only be in the news for a week or so when it is finished a year or two down the road.

In other words, a commission would make people to stop talking about January 6th. But now, it's going to be like the Democratic version of Benghazi. And it will haunt Republicans like Benghazi haunted Hillary.
