Just as clothing should reflect a controlled, reasonable person, so too should behavior in a church service reflect godly peace. Again, that was the culture of those times which is not our culture today.

Ok we are discussing beliefs about God and the Bible and my favorite subtopic the bastardization of religion in an attempt to justify, cruelty, political orientation, exclusion and plain old bigotry.
Let's start with the Bible, man is flawed, man wrote the he Bible, the Bible is flawed. Yes God might have inspired some authors but people still have free will and can put in what they want. Some stuff was so crazy, such as the book of Enoch, it isn't even included in modern versions of the Bible. The old testament seems particularly filled with God behavior that doesn't ring true. Kind of ironic that the Old Testament was written by Jews and our of all the ethnic groups they were the ones chosen by God to be special.
To believe us God is to believe in much that doesn't make sense. However to not believe in God is too believe in much that doesn't make sense either.

The J6 case will be put off for months. SCOTUS wants to chime in on his immunity claims. The court won't even hear arguments until April 22. So a trial would be in summer/fall if it ever happens.
