This is the real truth. If they want Mark Judge to testify all they have to do is file formal charges against Mark Judge with the police (there is no statute of limitations in Maryland). Technically, DiFi and the California congresswoman are both guilty of obstructing justice having known of the alleged assault and not reported it to authorities. Her testimony is so full of holes (can't say where or when the alleged assault took place, can't say who locked the door, can't say who pushed her in the room, can't say how she got home, can't explain how two football players who were older, bigger and stronger than her would be unsuccessful in an alleged attempted rape). Given that the alleged witnesses have no recollection of such an event ever taking place, the presence of evidence that suggests no such event ever took place and the presumption of innocence, there is no way charges would be filed.

Sorry, not obstruction of justice, but failure to report. If you have knowledge of sexual abuse of a minor, no matter how minor above or below clothing, you are legally obligated to report it:

Failure to Report Fam. Law § 5-705.2 An individual may not intentionally prevent or interfere with the making of a report of suspected abuse or neglect as required by law. A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 5 years or a fine not exceeding $10,000 or both

As I have already said, you people who say this have not read enough or listened top Avenatti enough to know what you're talking about. For one, she said she was at about 10 parties where Kavanaugh and Judge were present. Not all of those had boys lined up outside a bedroom. He said she was a bit naive and didn't realize what was going on in those bedrooms until it happened to her...THAT is when she put it together. They have said they have corroborating witnesses. We will see if anything comes of it, but Avenatti hasn't bluffed or lied about anything so far that we know of. I have no reason to dispute him now.

To simply dismiss it because it sounds outrageous is misguided.

What about this young couple lately where the dude is a doctor and he and his girlfriend have drugged and raped perhaps up to 100 women and taken thousands of videos...and the two of them aren't even that young, so they have been busy. Seems insane that two people, especially a man and a woman, could get together to do that and to that degree.

There are a LOT of naive people out there, in high school, in college and beyond. Don't dismiss it just because it sounds crazy. We will see if Avenatti has the facts. I say he does and will show his cards.

Part of my concern with Kavanaugh is that it is clear he is not very bright. Yeah he studied when he wasn't drunk or sexually assaulting women but he is palpably not a great mind.

My father went to Stanford, he was also accepted at Harvard, but he did not get into Yale. My older brother got graduate engineering degrees at MIT and Notre Dame, but he did not get accepted at Yale. My younger brother got accepted into a number of Ivy League MBA programs, but he did not get in at Yale. Kavanaugh was first in his class at Yale. I'm not sure which community college you are going to / went to, but I am certain it is not as academically rigorous as Yale. You can give us your qualifications, but I am pretty sure you should not be judging him as "not very bright".

There is range: 1)Should Kavanaugh sit on U.S.S.C? 2) Is there preponderance of evidence for a civil case? 3) Is there evidence at the level for a criminal prosecution regarding Blasey-Ford attempted rape? Even if there is evidence for criminal prosecution, once Mark Judge is arrested, his criminal attorney would not let him testify in front of Congress or in criminal court.
