Should we all go back to where we lived 3000 years ago or just the Chosen Ones?
Who do you think will end up with New York, or Stamford Hill?
Apparently the Turks want to go back to the Ottoman Empire days. Cherry pickers!

Palestinians just want to go back to 1948 when the Euro Jews came in and violently expelled them from their land and homes. An ongoing process that continues to this very day.
Seems reasonable.
A lot more reasonable that the argument that people called Jews held the land for a short period of time over 2,000 years ago and so it is the eternal homeland of the people called Jews today

I know a decent amount of information regarding that Islamic terrorist attack.
I also know that you liberals seem to have forgotten about the enormity of that attack on America. Within current events, you all seem to have become sympathizers with the very Islamic terrorist ideology that attacked us. My conclusion is that many of you are heartless idiots who dislike your own country to such an extent that you will hail its enemies as victims. You disgust me. If it was up to me, I'd ship you all to Iran or Saudi Arabia where you could go play with yourselves in your beloved Islamic oppressed societies.
Look the TheDolt in bad disguise.
You are an intolerant and biggoted extremist whose ideals don't align the US constitution. You're basically an anti-american. Feel free to GTFO.
Can you at least try to post like a rational human being? Look at what your hatred of Israel and America has reduced you to.

hey smart guy, when was the last time arabs controlled israel? since you're too lazy or just antisemitic to look, it's been about 800 years, and after it was the mamluks, turkish, and british. since no one from ancient history deserves the land, who exactly should rule it in your opinion??
also, jews always lived there and many more moved there fleeing persecution in russia and europe starting in the late 1800s. not to mentioned the 800,000 jewish refugees who were ethnically cleansed from surrounding arab countries, most of whom fled to israel.
and oh btw, many of the "palestinians" (this term didn't exist until the late 19th century) migrated to israel just like the johnny come lately jews in the early 1900s from surrounding arab countries looking for work under the british.
so when the british decolonized, they decided to create two states, israel and palestine (which had never existed under arab rule). israel said ok, arab countries said F you we are going to destroy israel, and told the "palestinians" to take off and come back when the job was done. guess what, israel beat 5 arab countries and has been defending its existence from people who want to exterminate it ever since.

You're right, nobody has the right to live anywhere. To the victor goes the spoils. The people in control of the land divided it up how they saw fit, many attempts were made to to appease everyone (2 state solution), but the Arabs refuse to compromise and will only settle for the complete annihilation of the jews. Now they have to fight for the land, and to the victor will go the spoils.
I'm personally rooting for the peaceful Jews who are just trying to defend their home as opposed to the genocidal terrorist groups who only want war. I'm just weird that way.
Am I understanding this correctly? Israel exists because people from all over the world simply moved to a place that was already inhabited and said "this land is ours now"?
Shocking that this created conflict!
Israel existed for thousands of years before Islam. The Jewish inhabitants were forced out by the Romans. Eventually Arab conquerers took over, although there was never a country called Palestine. Jews finally returned, in great numbers after Europeans gassed 6 million of them, and the Arabs (who had backed the Nazis in WW2) tried to kick them back out and lost. Gaza was part of Egypt until Israel took it when they successfully defended another attempt by the Arabs to kick them out. Then Israel withdrew in 2006, and continued to charitably supply Gaza its electricity and water, despite the Gaza population almost immediately electing an Islamist party dedicated to the genocide of Jews and the annihalation of Israel.
If you were illegally kicked out of your house by your Italian thug landlords, and a few years ...
"a few".
there is quite likely not one soul on this planet of 8 billion people who cannot claim ancestry in another country or indeed being a victim of violence if you're prepared to go back to Roman times. more than a little different to people who've been violently dispossessed in the living memory of their parents and/or grandparents and whose present circumstances offer a daily reminder of that.
besides which, it's hugely obvious just from eyeballing the mostly Russian Jewish immigrants to Israel that their average ancestry is vastly, incomparably, less 'of the region' than the Arabs.

but, anyway.
Native Americans might have something to say about how 'of the region' you look. How about Sephardi/Mizrachi Jews, who make up the majority of Jews in Israel? Do they pass your skin color test?

From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free!
Israel existed for thousands of years before Islam.
That's true. Israel existed back then yes. Semitic Israel. Those aren't the Mongol-Slavic foreigners via the Holocaust who are murdering thousands in Gaza today. Regardless one living person is entitled to one vote. Dead people don't get to vote. From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free!

in the last few years I've noticed a conscious effort to downplay Jewish and Israeli 'whiteness' but something doesn't quite add up to me based on my own experience. Israel's own bureau of statistics shows that half of post 1948 immigrants came from Russia alone with loads more from other European countries and of course many of these immigrants have since had children yet. I think it can only be true that European Israeli Jews aren't a majority (they're obviously the majority of the ruling class judging by past prime ministers; all of the early ones were born in Russia & the current one had Russian grandparents) if the other types have much higher birth rates, which I suppose they might do.

Using a horrific genocide of the natives in America in the 17th through 19th centuries not to oppose an ongoing genocide in Palestine but to defend it! Amazing logic there.
Name on non Ashkenazi Jew who has been PM of Israel. Save your effort. There have been none. Zionism is a racial supremacy philosophy created by and for the benefit of Euro Jews. The Arab Jews living in the ME were doing just fine before Zionism

Laughable. The European Jews were refugees from people like you who wanted to slaughter them. Not to mention the descendants of the original natives. When was Palestine ever a country?? You had your chance in '48, but you decided killing Jews was a better option instead. Do you always resort to playing the race card or only when you're not supporting a group of people who intentionally kill women and children (including their own who they hide behind)? Pathetic.
At this point, University liberal arts departments should just be padlocked. It’s nothing but worthless communist professors indoctrinating soft headed nothing happening idiots who should’ve gone straight from High School to working at Starbucks.

Seems reasonable.
..
So, it is who has the most recent claim?
OK, the Jews in Israel just want to go back to 2023. Seems more recent than 1948.
