She isn't border czar.

Biden asked her to work with the central american nations plus Mexico that send lots of immigrants.

She was not asked to figure out how to secure the border.

Not her job.

Her job is to work with the nations, diplomatically, to stop people from starting the journey.

She is 100% addressing that. Not Border Patrol issues.

That distinction might be lost on voters, however. And that may be what Republicans are counting on.

On Wednesday, after a meeting with immigration experts, Harris was asked whether she would visit the southern border. She twice explained that Biden has asked Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to address border issues and said that “he has been working very hard at that, and it’s showing some progress because of his hard work.”

Harris added that she had talked to the presidents of Guatemala and Mexico and that she planned to go to Guatemala “as soon as possible.”

“We also have to deal with the root causes, otherwise we are just in a perpetual system of only dealing with the symptoms,” Harris said.

It's money that the fed printed that is flowing into many of these states because of the Biden bailout, not businesses increasing their productivity. Biden and the Dems may have bailed out the state governments that shut down their economies, but he didn't bail out the businesses. So while the bureaucrats are happy, the businesses are still suffering under the oppressive thumb of their Democratic governance. If any states are doing well, it is the red states with employed citizens that are fueling the recovery, not blue states with their punitive lockdown policies, large tent cities, and businesses that they bankrupted.
