per the cdc, FL is now per capita the deadliest state in the lower 48. Over the last 7 days.
Not great, FL.

Here’s hoping president Crises doesn’t have another bad week. The US can’t afford too many more. Commala time to come out of the bakery and invoke the 25th. 😂😂😂🤡🤡💤💤🥊🐧🍗🐧👌

I really don't think we want to go back to the days where you could die from a simple infection. In 1900, life expectancy for men was 51. For women, it was 24.
That great a male/female difference doesn't seem plausible . . . This CDC table has U.S. life expectancy of 46.3 (male) and 48.3 (female), but the larger point that we have made great progress stands.
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data-visualization/mortality-trends/That said, this is pretty screwed up:

You are right. Google's summary quoted the wrong data column for women.
So for both sexes, overall life expectancy has increased by about 30 years for both men and women. My point was just to agree that medical science has done WAAAAAY more good than harm. We wouldn't want to go back even just to 1900.
Trumpists really, really, really don't like the United States Constitution.
Here they go again, flinging the power of the state around, telling private companies what they can and cannot publish.
It will obviously be struck down on a first amendment basis, but jeebers, these are bad guys.
Trump told us from the beginning he wanted to restrict 1st amendment rights and he's trying hard to get that done. A very late campaign promise, as it were.

Yes, let's not go that far . I may be a mathematician but I would not put me in the upper tier of mathematicians On a side note, my stepson was graduated (past passive) from the Univ Of Texas this past weekend with a 3.905 in mathematics. Not quite up to 3.99 but not too shabby.

geez if Biden can have the highest approval rating for a president since 2009 despite all these crises...must have been totally cataclysmic crises during Trump's crime spree, since his approval rating was ten points lower.
Man, you are right. Trump stunk.

Proven Collaboration between the campaign manager of the trump campaign and the KGB.

OR
there are enough wise Americans to know that
another week-long war in Israel, after many of those, is a) not biden's fault and b) not a crisis. another busy spring at the southern border is completely normal and not a crisis
a labor shortage will increase their pay and is not a crisis
inflation is likely temporary
the 'gas shortage' was extremely short, extremely not biden's fault.
On the other hand, they do know that a president who lies to their faces thousands of times, encourages armed sedition, gets help from the Kremlin and says he'll do so every time, who pardons hardcore criminals if they are made men in the Spanky Organized Crime family, who yeah likes getting spanked by porn actors, who spent hundreds of millions of US dollars playing golf, who was impeached twice, who continues to batter the Constitution, who is under multiple criminal investigations ,who stole hundreds of millions of dollars of tax dollars, who extorted Ukraine to get into US politics, who likes the NK dictator more than our European allies, who does not accept democracy as a viable path forward for America...
those are crises.
10,000 people at the border is not a crisis.

tax revenue flooding into state coffers because of the roaring Joeconomy.
maybe, just maybe, that's the sort of reason why Americans love Joe.
And why they don't consider 10,000 new immigrants to be a problem in a giant nation of 330 million people.
If you want to talk about pocketbook politics, Joe is doing a great job and deserves his 13 point lead on trump in approval ratings.

Related: The Gap is now +14.5 for Biden.
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/biden-approval-rating/For historical comparison, The Gap for his predecessor was always negative for the last three years and fifty weeks of his term. And we all remember that the previous guy never had a day of 50% approval.

Yep - americans love Biden while fat boy fans stay home devastated, as they should
