It will be interesting to see. There are a fair amount of top returners in the PSAC distance events. It sure will be fun to see who finishes where this year.
Watch for Edinboro in the 4x4 this year.

The mile should be pretty well contested this year, of the 8 scorers from last year 6 return. A lot of the top 800 runners are back too. Should be interesting to see how everything turns out.
Monroe will dominate the distance events. Gillette will dominate mile/1500 and jewel in the 800 hands down, debate over
Edinboro's Doug Watts has been breeding some young talented 400 meter runners over a few years. 2 recruits and 2 kids he took off the soccer team. One has the talent he claims to run close to "45 seconds." His words not mine. That would be insane but from the chatter I've heard 3:07 wouldn't be out of the question.
Also Gillette v. Monroe in a 3k would be fun.

You are either making that up out of nowhere or you heard this from Watts (and he was pulling your leg). Both of which are completely plausible.
Edinboro doesn't have a men's soccer team.
He never said whose soccer team.. ever heard of transfers? I guess we'll have to wait until spring to see though, since edinboro still has no mens indoor.
This thread really sucks. I blame it on the no personality of our PSAC leaders. Monroe, Gillete, Fezza, Edinboro guys. No heart from these guys. They seem like drones. The Edinboro team a few years back was some of the gayest dressed dudes I'd ever seen. But at least they had some personality.
The good old days when Shizzy would bring on pages of comments and bitter fighting and the drunken athletes would fill the message boards with off the top comments are over. These are to be considered the dark ages of the the PSAC thread until the conference picks up another big personality and strong drinking teams.
Or maybe those guys would rather have their running do the talking instead of doing it over a message board.
Alright alright everyone's been naming the big name guys to win but what about the guys behind or guys that could upset for the win? With a lot of the conference back in the middle distance events there has to be some possible upsets. Eli weeks came on pretty strong last yr to score in the 1500 and 800. Who else is in there?

Regarding the 4x400 it was a rec team he found the soccer talent. They play on the fields PSACs was run through a few years ago and during a workout he saw these kids I guess. Should be exciting to see a 3:09 team in person this year.

Doubtful! If I remember correctly, when the most trash talking occurred; the PSAC was the strongest and easily had the most depth. Now the PSAC is a joke.

I can verify what FROMBOIS was indicating about a possible 3:07-09 Edinboro 4x4. There have been rumors swirling between a majority of the PSAC coaches about these "recruits" for approximately 6-8 weeks. 2 of the 4 are indeed recreational soccer players. Watts spotted them while the cross team was doing intervals around those soccer fields. I have a few ideas on who these guys are, I'll try to pull some strings and get the names. They have been doing a couple low key workouts in "the dome" and they are showing some real natural talent. Low 46's are around what these guys are expected to run from the early signs.
