Jordan was clearly more skilled and a better defender. LBJ is bigger and has higher court iq. (LBJ has more turnovers btw bc he passes more.)
If you had a balanced set of 4 quality players, absolutely you would take Jordan every time. If you had 4 scrubs, LBJ would be the better player to add.
5 LBJ clones would beat 5 MJs due to size and smarts. But MJ has more skill for sure.
Again- put MJ in today’s game, he averages 40-45 pts (as many NBA vers state). Put LBJ in the 80s/90s, and let’s just say… he does not match his career stats. Does anyone argue this?
No team today wants a 2 guard who shoots as poorly as Jordan did from 3. lol. He’d be long gone before he had a chance to shoot 13%, 17%, 17%, 18%, 19% and 19% from 3.

Good. Because his defensive stats were a lot better at home than away for some reason. lol.
Good to see you gave up on the whole “Jordan is a better shooter than LeBron” hot take. Didn’t work out so good for ya, did it?
I do love that you’re now resorting to conspiracy theories as to why MJ’s stats are better than LBJ’s! LOL
It's amusing that he's crying about statkeeping accuracy while continuing to use a false shooting stat about Jordan even after acknowledging he was mistaken. Then pretending his irrelevant and inaccurate stats worked out for him! lol

Imagine shooting that poorly from 3-point range and STILL AVERAGING 37, 35, 32 PPG!! You FOOL. He averaged mid-30s while working in the paint and mid-range. Remember, he shoots 45% from “beyond 10 ft from the rim”… unlike LBJ’s 37%. This is truly where the difference lies between the two. 45% vs 37% in the mid-range, and 84% vs 73% from the free throw line.
There wasn’t even a 3-pt line when MJ was in college! For MJ’s first 4 seasons, he averaged less than one (1) 3-pt shot attempt per game. It wasn’t part of the game like it is today.
Typical MJ. When it matters though - in the FINALS - he opens up hitting 6 3-pointers in a row against the Blazers. Just for the hell of it. LOL
As much as I enjoy watching LeBron play and his impact on basketball is undeniable, he wouldn't have lasted during Jordan's time. He would of been on a stretcher during the 1st period of every game.

Yes. Jordan took a lot of inefficient shots and was horrendous from 3. We’ve been over that already. One of the reasons he’d struggle in this era.
Guess who has the same exact 33.2% 3 point shooting percentage in the playoffs as Jordan: LeBron! lol
Congrats on finding a shooting stat where Jordan was able to equal the GOAT. lol.
It remains that Jordan had seasons where he shot 13%, 17%, 17%, 18%, 19% and 19% from 3 despite shooting wide-open “available” 3s. And LeBron has a higher fg%, higher effective fg%, higher TS%, higher 2pt% and higher 3pt%.

You keep repeating irrelevant and incorrect stats. Congrats, LeBron was more like Rudy Gobert than Jordan was. lol
With the NBA Finals starting today, tell me this. If LeBron was a better shooter than Jordan as you would have us believe, then why did LeBron miss all of his shot attempts to give his team the tie or the lead in the final 24 seconds of an NBA Finals game? When his team most needed LeBron to make a shot, he never did. Jordan did!

What is incorrect?

I've already answered your question. Now it's your turn to answer mine. If LeBron was a better shooter than Jordan as you would have us believe, then why did LeBron miss all of his shot attempts to give his team the tie or the lead in the final 24 seconds of an NBA Finals game?
You can’t tell me what’s incorrect because it’s all factual. lol.

You admitted your mistake in Post 527 yet you keep repeating it. Why? Repeating erroneous stats and showing that LeBron is more similar to Gobert isn't helping your argument about who's the better shooter.

I don’t see that post. What is incorrect about it. It’s all factual.

Lebron is THE ONLY PLAYER IN HISTORY to be in the top 25 all-time in the 4 major categories - #1 in points, #4 in assists, #6 in steals and #23 in rebounds. It’s simply phenomenal. There is no one close to that measure including Jordan. Lebron is the GOAT. Period.
Repeating erroneous stats and showing that LeBron is more similar to Gobert..
Gobert also has a higher fg%, higher effective fg%,higher ts%, higher 2pt fg%, higher 3pt fg% and his average shot distance is the same as Jordan’s too? Wow!
