This is painfully out of touch and it just goes to show you how oblivious some people are to the circumstances of others. I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic but you couldn't possibly believe that only white men are getting screwed out of jobs.

This forum has just about unanimously agreed that a coaches ability to coach isn't the primary factor in them getting a job. Yet somehow you believe that EVERY qualified non-white man has a job in the ncaa.

So i guess the question is whether its a matter of convenience that causes you to dismiss the history behind the ideology that would even make an employer THINK to hire for "diversity" purposes?

Women and non-white men had to have laws passed just to be able to vote. Yet somehow this problem of apparent diversity hires just popped up out of thin air.

You believe if a coach is a female or minority, they are under qualified and a white male has been overlooked. White males ARE NOT the sport. Quit complaining that YOU didn't get hired. Newsflash...YOU are not qualified to coach or lead with your ignorant views.

You read all that and thats what you assumed? Read the post again. I'm not advocating for hiring anyone who's underqualified for any reason. My point was that there's a reason why some employers would even feel the need to consider hiring for diversity sake in the first place. That reason is rooted in a history of shutting out anyone one who wasn't a white male.
