It’s called “flailing” (…much like LBJ when someone attempts to play defense against him).
Beemer is now flat out lying about stats. LBJ - who has a lifetime 3pt% of just ~2% better than MJ - has several seasons shooting 32% & under from deep. Of course, he shoots 3X the number of 3s as MJ, despite being the size of a power forward.
Its really a sad state of affairs for the NBA: Going from MJ - a 6’6” 215 SG - dunking directly over big men, being unstoppable in the post, and being a defensive master… to… LBJ - a 6’9” 265 true PF - dunking ‘around’ little guys, staying out on the perimeter because he doesn’t like the contact, being clumsy/predictable in the post, and being lazy on defense.
It’s going to be real interesting to see who the NBA tries to force down our throats after LBJ retires.
Let me help you out: Jordan could only win an NBA title with one team, one coach, and one system. The minute he left Phil Jackson and the Bulls he never won again.
LeBron has been able to win titles with multiple teams- the Cavs, the Heat, the Lakers. Anywhere he goes he wins.
my final vote as i played during the MJ/Bird days is Bird and LeBron over Jordan because MJ is a quitter. No one wants to talk about his gambling addiction that allegedly got his father killed.
As a teammate, I’d take LeBron every day of the week. MJ is a competitor but he’s also a quitter.
LOL- well done.
But in case someone were to think you weren’t doing excellent satire there…
Yes, MJ stayed with the team he was drafted by as they acquired the role players and leadership to finally get beyond the powerhouses in the East (Celtics, Pistons) of the 80s. That’s how pro franchises were back then. You stayed with your team and the city. Teams stayed together for years.
MJ retired from the Bulls. They were dismantled. He became an NBA owner. Then decided to play another couple years. Didn’t need to do it. I didn’t like that he did it. I didn’t like that he went and played baseball. Between his two 3-Peats. If he didn’t do that, we could be having a discussion about the Bulls 4-8 championships in a row. Who knows?
LBJ led a surprise trip to and loss (4-0) in the Finals in 2007 with the Cavs. This was more of a sign of how weak the East was, honestly. So a couple seasons later he left the Cavs to go to a Super Team in Miami to try to win a championship. It was sold as the most power team ever built. They said they’d win multiple titles in a row. This would cement his legacy as the GOAT. They went 4 years in a row, winning just 2 of them- Upset by the Mavs 4-2 the first season, then winning two, the losing to the Spurs 4-1. Then he goes back to the Cavs, and they meet the Warriors four years in a row, winning once in 7 games. The loses were 4-2, 4-1, and 4-0. Then he goes to very solid Lakers team that defeats an injury plagued Heat 4-2 in 2020.
4 championships in 23 seasons… 2 of which on a manufactured Super Team. 6 loses in the Finals. Not GOAT performance.
As a teammate, if you want a title, you’re going to take MJ. If you need a single win at any given time, you’re going to take MJ. If you need a critical basket, you’re going to take MJ. If you need a free throw, you’re going to take MJ. If you need a critical defensive stop, you’re going to take MJ.
As a teammate, if you flop around like a lil biitch… we’re having a talk after the game. Also, if you’re LBJ, I’m telling you to work on your free throws (73%) and your shooting from outside 10 ft (37%).
If you need a critical defensive stop, you’re going to take MJ.
The greatest play of Lebron's career and honestly one of the highest effort/motor plays you will ever see was a defensive play so not sure on that one.

The 7 game win is arguably the best title in the history of the league so you're downplaying it. The 4-2 loss was a tour de force with a lot of the team missing and the 4-1 and 4-0 losses were to an actual super team and arguably (with many statistics to back it up) the greatest NBA team of all time.
Again, I say all of this thinking Jordan is the best NBA player ever. Let's not be fake and biased though.

That’s the greatest play of LBJ’s career? Then what in TF are we even talking about here?? LOL! Why bring up a single play? Again- weird tactics here.
I give the nod to Tayshawn Prince’s on Reggie Miller. Equally as fantastic, and he didn’t have a teammate tying up the ball handler like LBJ had with his block.
MJ was all NBA 1st D for a decade straight, won DPOY, led the league in steals multiple times. Also has great compilations of blocks.

Jordan came up with a big steal before making the championship winning shot.

That video is great. That’s the best “dunking on” LeBron compilation? Lmao. There was what, maybe 10 dunks. Most were where LeBron was trying a chase down block. A couple he wasn’t even in the play. One looked like from high school. lol. That was weak. I expected more - he’s played 23 years and almost 2000 games. That’s the best ones?

It’s everywhere on earth. 24/7/365. From now until eternity. It’s just another stat / fact you’re going to have to grapple with.
Good. Because his defensive stats were a lot better at home than away for some reason. lol.
Good to see you gave up on the whole “Jordan is a better shooter than LeBron” hot take. Didn’t work out so good for ya, did it?
LOL- you’re funny. You literally said nothing to even attempt to prove your [satirical] opinion that LBJ is a “good shooter.”
Again- don’t take this beating personally- we’re really directing our evidence toward the theoretical small group of delusional LBJbois, not you specifically.
Jordan was clearly more skilled and a better defender. LBJ is bigger and has higher court iq. (LBJ has more turnovers btw bc he passes more.)
If you had a balanced set of 4 quality players, absolutely you would take Jordan every time. If you had 4 scrubs, LBJ would be the better player to add.
5 LBJ clones would beat 5 MJs due to size and smarts. But MJ has more skill for sure.

CAN YOU IMAGINE the amount of FLOPS the “5 LBJ” team would perform in that game??? LOL- it’d be unwatchable.
Agree with most of what you said though. MJ is clearly more skilled (…yes, meaning better footwork, better ball handler, shooter, defender) and flat out MORE VICIOUS. His vertical was insane - his ability to elevate - in a CROWDED paint - and dunk over big men / do crazy acrobatic shiit is unmatched. At 6’6” mind you! LBJ is objectively NOT that guy.
Much of LBJ’s success is because of his sheer size. He’s big, strong and fast… and the game has been intentionally opened up for offense. But everyone has to admit, he’s an F’n poosy FAR too often. STOP TRYING TO “GET CALLS!” You’re playing in the softest defensive era in history, FFS!
LBJ has more turnovers because he isn’t that great of a ball handler. In the 80s/90s, he’d have a guy on his hip/rear, pushing back and reaching at all times. This standing around the perimeter shiit is inherently WEAK.
Again- put MJ in today’s game, he averages 40-45 pts (as many NBA vers state). Put LBJ in the 80s/90s, and let’s just say… he does not match his career stats. Does anyone argue this?
