Jepchirchir is entering the goat conversation. Wow, Seidel is a natural born marathoner. Amazing. What can she run on a flat fast course under good conditions? Any chance she can manage the AR? She seems to be getting stronger and stronger.

Tell me more. What distinguishes Jepchirchir from Kosgei or Keitany? Do you think she will prove to be stronger? Are they all going to be in Gidey’s shadow once she turns her attention to the marathon? Waiting for Hassan to launch her road career too.
Cheptoo is great, and some (most?) males would consider her to be a very “hot” looking lady, but that’s off the record....because somewhat irrelevant...kudos to all the runners, no matter their physical appearance obviously... Different strokes, different folks, different styles, etc.
I was somewhat amazed with Korir’s form, because it is not classic good form or picture book biomechanics, but he’s obviously so efficient and strong.

Looks like The Marathon Project time for Droddy is as much of a fluke as anything. Anyone checked that course for length?
Jeptoo had similar form when she won NYC years ago.

Korir has to have the most painful looking form of any elite runner in history. Kipchoge has the most beautiful form and Korir the ugliest.

Performance of the day. A hobbyjoggger from the masses spots an elite Olympic runner a 32-minute head start and still wins by over 14 minutes. This Flanagan woman reminds me of Sarah Sellers. She should put some more focus on her running. How far can she go?

No opinion whether the Marathon Project course was short or not, but it’s funny how there have been dozens of threads questioning if a track was short and comparatively few threads asking about road race course length.

Korir’s form looks a lot like mine unfortunately. I hate see myself in pictures. Of course I’m almost 45 minutes behind him.
Good race, especially on the women’s side. Probably the worst coverage I’ve ever seen and I had it recorded to skip the commercials. Watched the whole thing in less than 30 minutes.
Why do they show the top two runners finish and then basically stop covering the event? They acted like Molly Seidel was just an also ran (or was it Molly Hiddle) for finishing 4th how disrespectful. They should cover at least the top 10 spots in the race with just a pinch of dignity.
