Disco, if someone is using social media to incite wars and to spread hate, they should be banned. So I agree with you.

Now for the question you never answered. Do you even suspect that Trump is lying to you. Not the kind of lies politicians usually tell, but lies with the sole purpose of defeating the democratic process so that he can remain in power. Do you ever wonder if he is doing that, or are you pretty sure he is honest with you about him winning the election?

Just because Trump once tweeted that Twitter is stifling free speech it doesn’t make it so. Try to think for yourself. Now for a primer on this issue, so that you are finally more informed.

Twitter is a private company, not a government. In our country the USA there is something called the first amendment that prevents the government from blocking a person’s or private company’s free speech. If you don’t like the constitution this probably isn’t the right country for you.

Twitter, like other companies, has its own terms of service and can decide for itself what it wants to publish. We don’t live under authoritarian rule and anyone who doesn’t like the terms they agree to can move on to another platform that will accept them. It’s a free country and nothing is preventing trump from paying for a cheap website where he can blog nonsense all day. He can also yell out his nonsense into his TV or out into the streets, that’s his right.

The GQP is equally totally fkn wrong on the cancel culture issue. The government doesn’t have a right to decide the terms of service for companies and prevent them from executing accordingly. When some racist a$$hole goes too far a company has the right to disassociate itself from that person, via severing contractual relationships containing relevant clauses, by changing its rules and by making public statements. We live in a free market and if racist a$$holes are not in demand then they don’t get to have a voice or power. But sure, the GQP can cry about it all they want - free speech baby.

Lastly, if Trump or any chuds believe their rights are being trampled they can sue in court. That’s how things work in the USA. Some of you seem like you’d prefer to be in Chad or the DRC. Try not to hate the US so much.

"Trump incited an insurrection." A nice little catchphrase you Liberals have latched onto because it puts Trump into the worst possible light. I know it is hopeless but consider 3 salient points that destroy that narrative ...

1) You don't carry flags to an insurrection - you carry guns. They were protesting. I never saw one picture of a protester with a gun. They marched in the Capitol to PROTEST. Nothing else.

2) How did Trump incite when this protest had been planned for weeks? They had spent considerable time planning this and the protest had already commenced by the time Trump spoke.

3) Most importantly, let's look at what Trump actually said. He said "Go march down to the Capitol PEACEFULLY and cheer on your Congressperson " In no way could that be construed as incitement. You have to think about this stuff logically. Not parrot what Maddie or Joy or any of the other radical talking heads tell you.

Trump incited a riot against the US Government and its democratic process. That's easily as bad as any terrorist threat from Hezbollah or Hamas.
