So we know he didn't cheat in this race. And we know that he ran a legit 2:53 Shamrock Marathon, and we know that he ran a couple of legit 17:xx 5ks. As time passes we are getting more confirmations from other runners that indicate that pretty much all of his races were within his capabilities. I refuse to believe that someone would cheat to run finish times equal to or slower than they have already run repeatedly.

That doesn't look remotely "legit" Kip

The covered number, the outfit, the gun/chip differential, the dubious 8K the previous day dressed like a spectator.

I'd love to believe that you are an honest man with proof of Kip's innocence. Could you link us to the photos, emails and results from all races in question. Be sure to include those from the Western Wyoming Marathon.

The absolute certainty that some people have about Litton having cheated, and the insistent denial by Litton supporters, are exactly analogous to the certainty with which I know that Bolt, A. Merritt, Jeter, Blake, and others have cheated, and the insistent denial by their supporters.

All these posts, here and elsewhere, about Litton...and on the global stage, to the world of "road running", Litton is nothing, a nobody. It really sticks in your craw, doesn't it?

One difference that people might raise is that not all runners are dirty in Litton's league, but that they all are cheating among the sprinting pros, so it doesn't matter if a sprint pro cheats.

Cheating is cheating. For every one of the sprint pros who cheats, somewhere down the line, a clean athlete is denied an opportunity. I don't care how far down the line you have to go to find that missed opportunity, but it exists, and is no different from the Litton effect.

3:07 to get to the start line and he runs a 17:33 in a sea of 10,000 people. Out of the top 50 people not one had more than a 6 second gun/chip gap. (Kip was 23rd) That means they were all up front in the elite area or right at the back of it. You can't run a 17:33 from 3 minutes back unless you can run in the 16's because you're going to lose that 30 seconds, at least, in the first quarter or half mile trying to get around everyone. There are just too many people on a tight road. And he is walking across the finish?

The race director DQ'ed him. He was at the back of the pack jogging out of a parking lot with a running outfit that no one would wear that day, but him.

And one more thing for the record, there were no emails going back and forth, only the original one disqualifying him...with no response back. Feel free to contact the race director for proof. Again, you suck at lying and please give up the bs, it's really making you look rather stupid.

The problem is that ROJO aka Robert Johnson has underestimated Kip Litton's running (jogging) ability. I'm totally in agreement that Kip cheated in multiple races in 2009-2010 and that it's highly unlikely (just about impossible) Kip Litton has ever legitimately run under 3:00 for the marathon distance.

But he CAN JOG. He is a regular exerciser in Michigan. If kip could run a sub 3:00 marathon legitimately, he would be able to run a 3:30 on the spot (no training necessary.) There's a good chance that if we let Kip Litton decide which marathon he'll race in 2014 that he will choose one, train for it, and go under 3:30. So I would much rather change the offer to sub 3:00 and up the money. As a poor college student, I would put in $1000 to the pot for him going sub 3:00. It would seem like he should be able to go sub 3:00 if he were legit because he was almost doing it every weekend in 2010, but as id mentioned, ROJO underestimates Kip Litton's jogging ability - the dentist CAN JOG. This means he can probably train for a 3:30, Just not sub 3:00!
