2) They are better than Trump (DeSantis is a HUGE POS though), but talk to me when one of them is the GOP nominee. Trump is still the clear favorite (which is INSANE).

Nope! You can't vote for Donald Trump and be a fine person in any way. He's a racist. He's a sexist. He's a full-on criminal who has been running a criminal enterprise for decades. He's a fool who knows next to nothing about everything. He praises murderous dictators and says that China's President is a "smart man" because he rules the country with an iron first. Trump wants to be a dictator here. No fine person supports that nonsense. Some fine people voted for him in 2016, but we didn't fully know the level of his criminality, ineptitude, and depravity then. After about 2018, there were no fine people left still supporting him.
If you weren't wrong about this, your life would suck a LOT more than it does. Whether you get out a little or a lot (ranging from a few retirement errands to a high-exposure full-time job + high social activity), you're running into polite, helpful, nice Trump VOTERS all the time.
This is a good thing, not a bad thing. If we were going zero-for-two on this, life would REALLY suck.

2) Haley is just another cowardly R. Like them all, she could have been and should have been a Liz Cheney, but failed that (easy) test. Like almost all of them.
Neither are worthy of the position.

DeSantis is not Trump. He employs some of Trump’s populist politics because it is a winning formula, not because he necessarily cares for their pet cause. The great irony is that those fringe elements they are trying to court via identity politics (specific non-college educated white males) traditionally voted for Democrats because of their pro-union and give away policies (unions are the enablers of white privilege and structural racism when it comes to providing high paying jobs to non-college educated males). In short, the identity policies you hate are employed to sway voters who used to vote for Democrats. Unlike the Dems we don’t actually give them anything (Democrats give them labor laws that favor their racist policies).
