Wyoming's violent crime rate went up this year from 2.3 incidents per 1,000 people to 2.4. This is up over 2% from last year and continues a three-year trend of increases. Property crime also rose this year, moving up from 16.1 incidents per 1,000 people to 18.6—increasing over 15%. It's one of only 10 states that saw increases in both crime categories.

Evidently Trump blabbered about the amount of warheads the new subs could hold. And he also shared the distances they could remain undetected by Russian or other enemies vessels.
The guy is a toxic mix of stupidity, misplaced bravado and complete disregard for the country he swore to serve. And 30% of the country thinks he needs this power and authority back!
To be fair, he does need this power and authority bacck.
I think we should compare Wyoming to a city with similar population: Baltimore is the closest one as it had 576k people in 2021. In 2021, Baltimore had 338 homicides; in 2022, it had 335 homicides.

just stay out of red states and you should be fine
In a report Third Way recently released, we found that murder was much more prevalent in red states than blue states. That’s right. In 2020, homicide rates were a stunning 40 percent higher in the 25 states that former President Donald Trump won compared to the 25 won by current President Joe Biden. Of the 10 states with the highest 2020 per capita murder rates in America, eight of them not only voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020, they voted Republican in every presidential election this century.

Can we be honest as to why Republican states have higher homicide rates?
These are the 10 most dangerous cities according to Forbes. All except Shreveport have Democrat mayors.

take a look at overall mortality - the red states dominate altogether.
Sure, poor kids in cities are offing each other with guns. Doesn't affect many people other then them.
But in red states Rs are offing themselves in all kinds of sad ways. Diet, suicide, drugs, covid. Republicans can't even take care of themselves - they seem to have death wishes.
All the highest mortality states are red, 'cept Maine and that's a weird state. Most of the low mortality states are blue.

The latest installment of instances that prove right wing Politicians are lower than human fecal matter:
@VivekGRamaswamy claimed two protestors “got into their car & rammed it into ours” on the campaign trail —But the police just refuted his claim. The driver apparently wasn’t a protestor, and she reportedly backed into his car while pulling out of a parking space
John Harwood: “If ‘American politics’ were broken, we'd have seen things like this happen when Democrats controlled the House, but we didn't. What's broken, very specifically, is the Republican Party.”
It's interesting - and terrible - that seemingly relatively trivial things that even your young, stupid mind notices about people can end up as apparent foreshadows of a very dark time for a country. Specifically:
1) Sports fans who INSIST on thinking that every call against their team is bad, and every call against the other team is bad. Even as a stupid kid, that lack of honesty - and even logic - disgusted me. As in, "Really, you can't root for your team WITHOUT denying the obvious and being badly inconsistent and hypocritical ??"
Corollary: Current Rs. Disgusting.
2) People of modest intellect and/or poor thinking habits getting a little morsel of information or wisdom in their heads and then proudly overly/incorrectly applying it. Saw it in school and in the military all the time.
Corollary: Fairly non-political Americans (i.e., the ones who will decide the next President) watching Trump and Trumpism for 7-8 years and (proudly) coming to the pathetic conclusion that, as the quote above references, "American politics are broken." Or, "All politicians are bad/dishonest/etc."

But... but... the police is part of the Deep State.
