Now Russia is losing 60 year old tanks that were upgraded 40 years ago. Either Putin doesn't care about his soldiers or Russia is running out of modern battle tanks.

My thoughts were they should have made that move sooner - it would have saved many Ukraine lives.

Strategic retreat is often the better choice and I'm glad the Ukraine military command is thinking strategically. You better figure out the definition of racist before you call Europeans racists for booting Russia out of Europe. Since Russia occupies almost half of the European continent, they are European. They have always completed in European championships, never Asian, so they must consider themselves Europeans.

Since you’re a bit dense, I’ll help you some more. Europeans can not be racist against Europeans because they are the same race.
They can be bigoted and prejudice against their own race but not racist.
Now, if you consider Russians to not be European, which may be case going forward as Russia aligns itself more with its eastern neighbors. Russians may become less European and more Asian in the future. Then, Europeans can be racist against Russians, who may become Western Asians.
At the present Russians are booted out of pretty much everything - European and American airspace and shipping lanes, F1, cycling, athletics, World Cup soccer, tennis, and even booted out of Europe.

Soon Russia will control the resource and industrial foundation of the former Ukraine in the east and all access to the Black Sea in the south. While nato and the G7 are getting all the press, the old soviet block countries and China, India, Argentina, South Africa, Iran, and Brazil have become much closer. Now, because of US bullying and sanctions, all these countries are seeing that they can be next and are suddenly very motivated to cooperate. Putin now effectively controls the Caspian, where NATO has zero control or even access, and can supply the forward operations on the Black Sea from there.
Turkey has become a major wild card. if Turkey leaves NATO then Putin could conceivably control the Black Sea as well and supply forward positions in the Aegean Sea and Mediterranean. Wow. Talk about a galactic miscalculation on the part of the pentagon. But hey, at least the US military defense contractors have earned billions.
Contrary to what you’re being fed in the “news”, instigating this proxy war in the Ukraine has been a colossal blunder by the neo-cons at the pentagon.
